Hi, thanks for visiting Camino for Closers.

I started this is 2023, to keep my memories of my second Camino de Santiago, my second Camino Frances.

It took me two long years to finish the first draft of the write-ups.
The reality is that an experience like the Camino de Santiago needs to be lived, not read about.

I started these posts with the aim to help anybody who might be interested in starting AND finishing a Camino, done in the “proper” way.

In hindsight, so much of the Camino is left to circumstances, contingencies and chance, especially if you do it later in life.

As time passed, my perspective on doing the Camino shifted from “do it properly” to “finishing the camino is highly valuable and you should try it”.

I hope my own experiences will be of some use.
